Kidlit Week Winners! WOOHOO!!!

I’ve very excited to announce the winners of our Kidlit Week giveaways to celebrate 2 years of Sub It Club! But first, I have to thank each and every one of you who participated. I had so much fun reading through all of the kind comments. Some of you made me laugh out loud and I was smiling the whole time I was tallying entries–which was a long time–we had a lot of entries! I wish I had the time to reply to everyone. Please do know that I appreciate all of your comments and am so happy to have made so many friends via Sub It Club! Back when I got the idea for this club, I felt like I was pretty much alone with the struggles I found myself having while submitting my work and just wanted someone to talk to. Now I’m so thrilled to have all of you, and to see you all helping each other out in our Submission Support Group and Critique Partner Matchup is a thrill!

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Katy S. Duffield, Amy Dixon, Sarah Frances Hardy, Corey Rosen Schwartz, Dori Kleber, Susanna Leonard Hill, and Jodell Sadler who donated fabulous prizes to make our Kidlit Week so special! An extra thank you to Amy Dixon for one of the best posts ever on dealing with feedback (be sure to read it if you haven’t yet), to Sarah Frances Hardy for her super duper helpful post for picture book writers and illustrators alike: PICTURE BOOK DUMMIES FOR (NOT) DUMMIES, and to agent Jodell Sadler for the informative interview!

I know you want to know who the winners are so, here we go:

Congratulations to the winners! I am so excited for you all. I’ll be getting in touch with each of you. Here’s to improving our craft and putting our best work out there!

See you all in the club.

  2. Congratulations to the winners. I’ve been following from the shadows – as life is just going on right now, but this year I hope to be more active in following, writing, and SUBMITTING. 😉 Keep up the great work!

  3. Hip, hip, hooray for all of the winners! I note two of my writerly critique friends, Ariel & Katey! I am a winner, too, because I learn so much while reading the many posts on Sub It Club. ~Suzy Leopold
