Flip That Pitch!

With #Pitmad #PitchMAS and #SFFpit coming up this month there’s a lot of pitch writing going on! It can take time to create a great pitch and then…WHAT? Twitter won’t let you post the same tweet more than once. Talk about frustrating!

Sure, you can come up with a number of pitches but when you have a good one you want to make the most of it. So flip it!

To demonstrate I came up with a quick pitch using my picture book:

Here’s the pitch:

At bedtime Paul turns into a real monster. Dad understands, he used to be a little monster too–and he has the tail to prove it. #Pitmad #PB  (That’s 140 characters.)

Of course, I like the first and the last way the best, but you can post up to 2 times an hour during the event(please check the #Pitmad guidelines for the most current info. The pitch rules do change from time to time), and that is a lot of posts! Just by flipping the hashtags I’ve given myself 5 posts.
